1.What UI add-on for World of Warcraft would you recommend?
I have used Cosmos, but am interested in other UIs that are easy to load and manage. Any

recommendations?

I'm very partial to CTMod. Cosmos is great, hands down. Many people poo-poo the notion that

Cosmos slows down your interface. I personally think it does, for everything it adds, there

is alot of overhead associated with it.

CTMod is very lightweight, while still adding most of the features you get with Cosmos. Much

overhead goes into Cosmos's SKY, and EARTH libraries. CTMod doesn't require many of these

heavyweight libraries.

So, give CTMod a try. I love it.
2.Does using UI mods on WoW slow gameplay down?
I'm thinking of downloading a UI mod for world of warcraft, but I don't want it to make game

play any more choppy or increase my latency. Do I need to worry about this? Thanks.
