The best that you could hope for is that you get caught by Blizzard and banned.

Worst case scenario is that it is a trojan that will allow a hacker to either steal your

World of Warcraft account or hijack your whole computer

NOTE: Not necessarily saying that YOU would use it. Just that some may consider this like

the "cheat codes" associated with any other game.

Cheat Codes in other games are left there by the game programmers. They expect you to use

them to add to the game experience. MMO's do NOT place cheat codes in their games since

there is such competition with other players that allowing such cheats would diminish the

experience for others (anyone who did NOT use the codes would not be able to compete at all,

so you would almost HAVE to cheat).

The person who developed this cheat is illegally modifying a copyright-protected piece of

software in clear violation of the Terms of Service. If they are in fact are cheating you,

you would have nowhere to go to complain (like getting cheated by your drug dealer).

Blizzard Entertainment would not help you, they would in fact permenantly ban your account.

There is a good chance that the modifications that this cheat entails would corrupt the game

(especially with the patches that are constantly being pushed out). UI Modifications and

Addons are unreliable in that regard and Blizzard actually supports them, how do you think

an unsupported illegal hack would function.

To aldo: If it's just a stupid game, then you should have no problem not playing it. If

people start hacking World of Warcraft, the price will only go up. Then honest gamers like

us will have to shell out more money. Same thing with music/movie pirates. These people are

too cheap to pay for anything so they steal it from the internet, which causes the price to

Any sort of hacks would be instantly baned on a live server. Set up your own private server

and you can alter the game world as much as you like with the right programs. Look on

Youtube and search for GM Powers and you should get some videos on what you can do on your

own private server.

Hacking usually means using something in a way that was unintended by it's origninator.

Hacking a website, usually means either accessing the database that the website uses, or

accessing the files that the website uses. If you are accessing the files, you can change

what the website looks like. If you are accessing the database, you could extract

information that you shouldn't have access to.

Same ideas apply to WoW or any other computer system.

OK so the massively multiplayer online game World of Warcraft is free and generally is hack

safe, so how can I join in on the fun without having to pay? I don't want to cheat or

Private servers may be free, I think.
They may not have the tech support and loot that the standard game has.
Somehow, I think it would not be the same game

I don't play nearly as much as I used to, but the World of Warcraft Gold guide ( decet

recommended from some friends of mine.

As other have pointed out, it's kind of a chicken/egg conundrum, as any guide to great

farming locations or other techniques is usually obsolete as soon as it's published, since

everyone is using it.

One nice thing about the above guide is that it also includes fundamental stuff involving

the auction house that virtually always works as well as some other techniques that are

solid enough to work no matter what, if you're willing to put in the time to master them.

From my experience it is good to run instances for cash after level 50. You can also see

which items are expensively auctioned off and find out where to get them and go 'farm' them

to auction off for gold. Or you can be a true auctioneer and buy-sell all maner of stuff in

the AH to produce cash. The last take a small investment of time per day, but is easiest and

still lets you play the most without wasting time running around collecting.
8.Does anyone know how to bypass work firewalls so I can play Counter strike and world of

I am useing my laptop at work and I am hardwired into the network by useing an ethernet

cable from another computer. I can surf the net fine, but I want to know if there is a way

8.Getting Sued Over 300 Euros?
Let me explain my situtation. I recently bought a World of Warcraft account cheaply, cause I

thought I could sell it for more. I sold it, and then, after the guy sent me the money he

says the account got "hacked". I don't know if its the seller who took it or the guy who

bought it off me. When I checked later at a forum, it turns out that the account was a

hacked account, so the guy who sold it to me probably hacked it or got it through some

random method. Now, the guy who bought it off me is in GERMANY, and payed me 300 Euros. I

live in the United Arab Emirates. He only has my name,city, and he sent it via Western

Union. I didn't know anything wrong, but break a Blizzard rule about selling an account, but

should I get blamed? He says hes going to sue me. But look at the facts:

1) Sueing me would probably cost more than 300 Euros...
2) Coming over to the UAE would cost around $1000, which is around 700-800 Euros.

And I provided ALL the information of the account.

What should I do?

According to Blizzard's Terms of Usage, any character or equipment from the game belongs to

Blizzard so on the surface, so where the account was hacked, I am not sure if you could be

punished for dealing in stolen property.

Given your differnt countries and the amounts involved, you may be alright

It looks like you got off lucky considering you bought the account and could have easily got

stuck with world of warcraft hack
