CMS stands for 'Content Management System'. I'm familiar with PHP scripting and installs

so an alternative MMORPG guild script would be welcome too.

Note: If you don't like the World of Warcraft, please don't post an answer telling me it

sucks or stuff like that.. answers like that are pointless.

I think a good Open Source CMS that fits your bill would be Joomla Open CMS. Joomla has

been widely used and you can get more information about Joomla from http://www.joomla.org

and lot of features can be incorporated into joomla through extensions.

An Open Source Shopping Cart called Virtumart works well with Joomla.

Coming to customising Joomla for World of Warcraft guild, I would recommend to use one of

the commercial templates for joomla from RocketTheme. You can access the demo of these

templates at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com. And especially you can look at WOWTrooper

template for your site.
Or you can choose from the following rockettheme templates
Nov 6 - ShockTrooper,
Nov 6 - StormTrooper
Nov 6 - GOWTrooper
Jan 7 - Sporticus Battlefield 2142 Example.

Byfar Joomla CMS with Rockettheme Template will be a good choice for you.

okies, i have a guild, and i hear a lot of people talking about a "guild bank" for guild

members to donate to. How to i create a guild bank for my guild? I've tried asking in game

and no one seems to know or just don't answer me at all. Others in my guild do not know

either. Please help me figure this out so i can better my guild so my members have a more

enjoyable experience.

To set up a guild bank, someone in the guild makes a character to be the bank. Then you

get it invited to the guild (not sure of your guild's rules on alts, might have to bend

some to have it) Then people send money and items to the bank (money mainly to buy bank

spaces and bags to store stuff) It helps if you have a webpage somewhere that guildmembers

can access to see what is in the bank. Most guild bank characters have a name that relates

to the guild like guildbank or some variation thereof.

Why would you join a US server if you all are going to speak cantonese. They have Chinese

servers for gods sake.
