1.World of Warcraft Burning Crusade - Anyone else confused?
Hi all, bought and installed my WoW xpac yesterday and played for about 5.5 hours. I was
wondering - did anyone else find the new areas confusing? Maybe it's because I'm out of
leveling practice, but I found the process of leveling slow. Anyone have any tips for a
newcomer to the Burning Crusade?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
the offical response was that it should take as long to level from 60 to 70 as it took to
level from 1 to 60. So it will probably feel like it takes alot alot longer. I've heard it
bandied about that if you go very hardcore, you can get it done in 10 days of /played
time. Keep in mind, that means 240 hours of straight grinding and questing, not 10 days of
playing/eating/sleeping.
2. In WARCRAFT 3 Frozen Throne, there is a map named DOTA ALLSTARS. Anyone got a URL with
hints/tips/items/heros?
Im looking for a website with help/tips/item listings/hero listing/guides. DOTA is the
name of the map in WARCRAFT 3 Frozen Throne that im looking for tips. (NOT WORLD OF
WARCRAFT)

4.Warcraft tips?
So i have been playing world of Warcraft for about a year and i still don't have a 60 or a
40! i have gotten into the 30 range but nothing more then that! I need really good tips on
leveling, professions, races, classes, realms, books! anything even special quests or
area's!

The best way i recommend is to party in groups for quest or instance.
For each instance, u can gain about 6-10 bars depending your level and how far u do.You
must also remember to ask party members to share quests so u wont miss out the quest
during the run.
For questing, it is good to party because soloing takes much more time to complete each
task.If you find it difficult u can join a good guild for help. The most common problem is
how to do the quest.Don't wait just head to the internet and type in the quest name. You
sure to find it easier with the help of it.
Another tip is hearthstone your character whenever u are logging off for a long time.If u
just want to have a short break try not hearthstone since u must walk a long way back to
your actual destination. When your character is rested it is the good time to solo on
grinding(try to on some music to let yourself enjoy more of what you are doing since
grinding takes hours.)
Assuming if you are short of gold, you can use auction house as a good place to earn
golds. Some item u pick up is really useful all
except for items in grey words which u npc them. For example some players willing to pay at
least a gold for a stack of copper ore(depend on the market) which u can mine it at low
level areas. However you must price check in AH so u will not be overpricing.
To my experience warrior char can save lots of money since many monsters have what they
need. You do need to save lots of gold when your level 40 which u can get a mount(cost at
least 90g)
5.Any beginner tips for playing World of warcraft?
I just started last night...and theres alot for me to learn, anyone have any useful tips?
I didnt really meet anyone, it was kind of chaotic at the starting levels. Please, any
advice would be useful.

Get to know your class, try everything with that class, start by killing lots of monsters,
try spell combinations and see which of them works better, it also depends on which class
you've chosen, if you tell me which class you have i can help you better
regards
ADDITIONAL:
Ok Mages:,i'd recomend that you specify as fire, when you reach level 10 they will start
to give you 1 point every level you gain, those points you can use to specify your class,
for mages there is Fire, Frost and Arcane, why fire??? cuz its better for leveling, you
kill faster meaning you gain XP faster. Try to complete as many quests as you can, for
mages one tip could be, start every battle with a frost bolt, in order to slow your target
then attack him with fire, theres a chance you kill the monster without even receiving a
single hit, cuz the slow effect will give you time to burn him down as he walks towards
you. As i told you before, kill kill and kill, even if they ask you for 10 monster
killing, try to kill 15, more XP, more practice, and sometimes more money.
MONEY tip: Loot everything, even if its crap, loot it, almost every single item you dont
need you can sell it to a vendor for little money, it may be just a lil bit of money but
if you put together a nice amont of items u can get money for your trainings and repairs.
For green, blue, purple items (dont worry about purple yet) if you can use em and are
better than what u have, use them. if not, there is always the good Auction House to sell
them.
GROUPS:
Dont unleash all your power as the battle starts, wait until your warrior or another melee
class to attack first, then you attack, believe me, you dont want to be the monsters first
target with mages, mages are weak for melee but powerfull in ranged attack,, on groups
just try to be away from the monsters, when you are alone you dont have much of a choice,
but to try to burn your opponent before he kills you.
EXTRA TIPS:
Train First Aid to help you on your questing, i dont know where to train alliance
characters cuz im all Horde but im sure you will find the place. There are stats on your
character, check with the key 'C': Strenght, Agility, Stamina, Intellect, Spirit, Armor,
for mages go for Intellect and stamina, with a 3rd choice for Spirit, Intellect will
increase your mana and increase your chance to land a critical hit on the monsters,
stamina will give you more life, and spirit will increase the speed at which your health
and mana regenerate
PROFESSIONS:
There are some professions available on the game the 2 more suitable for mages are
Tailoring and Enchanting, tailoring makes your clothes, enchanting gives you the ability
to disenchant every item you dont need anymore (greens, blues, purples) turning them into
dusts or crystals which you can sell or use for your own enchantments.
well now im tired of writing, i hope i helped you right there.
6.Has anyone got any tips for World of Warcraft?
I keep dying and finding my body is getting a little boring now.
Any tips on getting gold or gaining a higher level easily
Best Answer - Chosen By Voters
it depense on what you are playing.
if you play a hunter or warlock , use your pet well, send them into combat before you.
do you play a healer (priest, paladin, druid) , found a group you can party with. you can
grind alone with all 3 but it will go slower.
if you are a warrior/rogue best way to grind is killing mobs that are 1 or 2 lvl's below
you. you can always help with groups.
a mage is something special. go to lots of mobs lower then you and just aoe them all :p.
I don't know shaman at all so can't help you whit that.
this is most for solo grinding or small groups.
THE best way to gain much experience/ money is going with a group to an instance.
7.
What are some good World of Warcraft tips?
I am looking for lvling mainly.
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
Take on lots of quests and kill stuff on your way to completing them. Attempt to complete
red quests as they give you more exp points. Don't let your quests turn green or gray :(
Always log off in an inn - that way you'll be rested and when you log back on, you'll get
2x the exp. points for kills. I'd usually attempt to kill higher lvls if I'm on blue bars.
Try to party up with someone your same lvl as you'll go through quests faster - join a
guild to find the right ppl for that. If you're really just into lvling, don't take on
professions right away as they are very distracting but they do help earn you money.
8.World of Warcraft tips?
I am looking for ways to make more money. I have farmed the bloodelf mask, tried the
bottom scanner on AH, even tried to strictly have my professions as money maker ones,
skinning and herbalism, but I still on have 40 some gold. I hear people say they have
thousands of gold, how and please don't be stingy. I am on Zul'Jin, so if you are not on
that one, I really won't affect you by knowing your secrets. I have a 44 Pally Dwarf if
that helps out any. should roll in.
9.I need World of Warcraft tips..?
Any general or basic tips for somone just starting?
Best Answer - Chosen By Voters
TIP: Never play alliance :-D
I kid...I have nothing for or against them. I just like dead zombie like creatures better.
ANYWAY-
Pick up a herbalism and skinning, you'll be able to make money that way so you don't fall
behind or get screwed over. You are almost to a level where you can start doing instances
and getting better gear. So head to LFG channel and see about getting in some fun instance
action. I would suggest http://www.virgoods.com/ to help you decide where to go.
As a general tip, grind. Just get quests and do them and turn them in. Kill everything you
see and collect all you can. Never do green quests, rather stick with yellow, get the
better XP and have a buddy help you with orange or red quests. Elite quests you'll need a
group for, so try joining a guild so you can get some extra back up.
If there is something specific you want to know, ask around the WoW forums. I'm sure
you'll be able to find plenty of friendly people. Keep in mind, just have fun with the
game(the lower levels are always the most entertaining, mid levels drag and then 55+ are
great raids and fun PvP). If you start to get bored, try a different class or race or
switch to a new server

Ahh, a kindred spirit. My friend and I have played MMORPGs for years and (until WOW) never
did really max out. We always joked that we were "perpetual newbies" cause we always liked
making a new character and never got them past 20 or so (in our defense, our main
characters were higher...not quite maxed, but in the 40s-50s in EQ1).
WOW was the first game we hit the level cap of 60 (we're now in the process of hitting the
new level 70 level cap...but it'll be a while).
One thing I would suggest is to kill things a level or two below you. They seem to have
the best exp-to-effort ratio, thus maximizing your XPH (experience per hour). This is
something that I'd like to touch on...experience per kill is far less important than
experience per hour. Not that you have to have a whole hour in which to kill, but the
concept. Some people will think that if they kill higher level creatures they will get
more exp...and they are right, if you look at it as a number that a particular creature
has given you. But if you kill something that gives you 300 exp and you kill something
that takes half the time/effort but gives 200 exp, which is the better way to go? I'd go
with the easier kill, wipe two of them and score my 400 exp. Of course these numbers are
totally made up, but I just wanted to use it as an example. As a creature gets higher in
levels it seems to me that they get harder but do not provide enough of an exp bonus to
warrant the extra effort.
Secondly, I want to suggest soloing. It isn't as much fun as grouping and going through
instances, but it will likely earn you experience quicker. This all depends on your
race/class though, as some are better suited for soloing and some shine as a group player.
While all classes can successfully be either solo oriented or group oriented (depending on
talents, equipment, play style, etc.) I see the following as more group oriented: warrior,
priest, paladin and I see mage, rogue, warlock, hunter, shaman as better in the solo
field. I do not know where I'd place druids...probably solo though. I'm not going to talk
about the other classes, as my highest other than my main is 24 (perpetual newb, LOL!) but
I will speak of mages.
My mage is level 60 and I have a blast with him. A few weeks ago I had re-specced him as a
Fire mage, and I did like that. At first I thought fire was all based on damage, damage,
and more damage! But as I played around with it I found that there were tactical elements
to it as well. I'm glad I learned some strategy and extra uses for some of the spells, but
I have since reverted to my favorite spec: frost! As a frost mage, you become a control
freak. You only let things happen to you that you allow (PVP aside...as I personally suck
at PVP). Let's start with the pull. Frostbolt will be your best friend at higher levels. I
recall when I started playing that Frostbolt was good for only 1 thing...slowing the enemy
while I hit them with my REAL damage spell...Arcane Missiles. Now, I seldom use Arcane
Missiles, and Frostbolt is my spell of choice for dealing out damage. The frost talents
give me reduced mana costs, reduced threat, quicker casting times, and improved critical
hit chance and damage. I pull with Frostbolt, then hit them with 1-2 more frostbolts
before they get to me (one of my talents increases the amount of the slow by 10%...another
gives a 5% chance that my chill effect (the slow) will freeze them in place). Once they
get to me I Fire Blast (instant), Frost Nova (instant - freezes them in place), back up,
and start with more frostbolts. That's not my favorite feature as a frost mage though. I
love my Ice Barrier spell. Consider it to be a self-use of the priest's Power Word Shield
spell. At my level it will absorb up to 800-900ish damage and my spells will not be
interrupted while it is in effect. It is a great saving grace spell, as it buys me time.
Another good one is Ice Block. This will encase me in ice for 10 seconds. I will take no
damage, but I can not move or cast spells. It is great if I am in a group and am in urgent
need healing, as the healer can cast a healing spell while I am encased in ice. It has
saved me several times. The third of my favorite toys is my improved blizzard spell. It is
area effect, does about 1200 damage on everything in range over the course of the spell,
will put the chill effect on a creature each time it strikes it (every second for 8
seconds, so long as the critter is in the radius), which means that each time it strikes
it there is a chance of it freezing in place. The drawback is that Blizzard costs a lot of
mana. That's where (Arcane Spec) Clearcasting comes into play. When I hear the chime that
indicates I am in clearcasting, I know the next offensive spell I cast will cost no mana.
Blizzardtime! Finally, we have Cone of Cold. Since it is instant cast, it is a good safety
spell since I can cast it while moving. When I have used up my frost nova and need to
freeze a critter in place, Cone of Cold has been helpful many times (remember...chill
effect has a chance to freeze them in place). All this coupled with Polymorph means for a
very tactical and controlled fight. Lots of fun!
I think I got off-track somewhere, but I'm too tired to go back and pick up where I left
off, so I'll just give this to you for your reading pleasure. If you are on Darkspear,
look me up...Desecrates (Deh-Sec-Ruh-Tees, not Deh-suh-crates). Good luck!
11.Any tips on how to Get more money and power level in World of Warcraft?
First off I really need to level up but what are some silver/gold makin tips for World of
Warcraft. Any tips on how to powerlevel really fast?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker
Take up skinning and mining. Skin everything you kill, mine everything you can and just
sell it on the auction house. It'll add up over time. Also anything in white/green/blue
letters sells on the auction house usually.
Download an addon called auctioneer for your ui, it will help a lot in making $$.
For leveling really fast, kill stuff there is a large supply of and kill it as fast as
possible. Take quests that are on your way. Meaning, don't take the "go here, then go
here, then go here then go here" quests. Take the "go kill me 10 of those spiders you were
gonna kill anyways" kind of quests. Kill the 10 spiders, kill 30 more, when you get bored
or need to sell, go turn the quest in.
