heres the answer for brittish readers,
Game, Gamestation, Amazon.co.uk (or .com for the international version), ebay.com, forbidden planet stores, probably argos, most likely also in Woolworths at the cashiers desk.
if your in america try card game stores, the internet (namely ebay or amazon), large chain stores like Walmart, or possibly games stores, which may have them.

No if you use the prepaid cards you do not need a credit card. Thats the whole reason they were made, for people without credit cards.

Scrye magazine gives prices for most CCGs -- Magic, YuGiOh, etc. For more valuable cards eBay is always nice. Also you can just check local CCG Card / Comic shops and see what they sell their cards for.

i purchased a starter set, i didn't get anything rare in game use cards. i did however got a total of 4 hero cards. i am planning on getting more this weekend. and since you shared, i am turning 24 in a couple of days, own my house and supporting my mom and son. gold luck on getting those rare cards =D imma just collect them, not gonna play them.
